Education

Dr. Ken Dillehay grew up in Carthage, TN, and graduated from Castle Heights Military Academy. He attended the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology. He moved to Memphis and enrolled in the dental school at the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences, receiving a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He practiced general dentistry in Carthage, TN, for a short time, where his interest in orthodontics continued, and he decided to return to Memphis for specialty training in orthodontics.

Dr. Dillehay completed an orthodontic residency at the University of Tennessee, receiving a Master of Science degree, and, upon graduation, moved to Wichita and joined Dr. John Rogers and Dr. Terry Duncan at 460 North Terrace.

Recognition

Dr. Dillehay is the orthodontic specialty examiner and consultant for the Kansas Dental Board and has received numerous awards, recognitions, and accolades throughout his career. He has received the prestigious “Dentist of the Year” award from both the Wichita District Dental Society and the Kansas Dental Association. He was chosen as the Advocate of the Year by the American Student Dental Association and was recently recognized with the “Service above Self” award from the East Wichita Rotary Club.

Professionally, Dr. Dillehay is a Diplomate to the American Board of Orthodontics and is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and the American Association of Craniofacial Pain. His additional affiliations include:

Outside the Office

Dr. Dillehay and his wife, Becky, also an Ole Miss graduate, have two handsome and wonderful sons. James Kendall (J.K.) received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ole Miss and recently completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Tennessee. Taylor also received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ole Miss and is attending law school at Oklahoma City University.

When Dr. Dillehay is not working or attending a meeting, he enjoys spending time on Alveolar Ridge at Table Rock Lake with his dental neighbors and friends from Wichita. In the fall, he enjoys trips to Ole Miss to watch the Rebels play and spend time with his college friends.
